After many months serching for a light camper trailer I found and bought a Tourlite camper trailer. I can recomend them as it is easly set up, quicker than some tents. It is small enough to fit in front of the Jimny in the garage. Have a look at www.tourlitetrailers.com.au.

Camper trailer weighs 250kg and that allows you to load 100kg into trailer, (if you get the one with brakes then you can load 1050kg).

I have only been to Moore river with it and had no problem, in fact I was doing 110Kmp most of the time.
I was told at the camp that when towing not to exeed 100kmp.
You can feel that you have a trailer on the back but it means changing gear a bit sooner on hills, but it is still a enjoyable drive.

The Jimny is a 2008 model and with a tail wind in both directions we averaged 11.3 Lts/100km.

I am impressed to the point that I have bought a new Jimny and will take delivery next week. (New one has ABS.
