One of the 40 odd fleet of Active Tree Service's Jimnys
I contacted Active Tree Services after seeing an ATS Jimny around town. Above is the photo on the day, and below is a summary of a chat I had with one of the ATS people.
Active Tree Services are tree experts and vegetation management service providers. Our main contract is for the government.
We've used Jimny's for approximately 10 years or more, and have a fleet of about 40 Australia-wide.
Jimny's were chosen for their short wheel base, to be able to get in and out of anywhere. They've had to go through some pretty rough terrain, culverts etc, basically off road so we needed something rugged to be able to get our people in to do the job.
